Job Summary: Performs a broad scope, high level of highway operational duties (including scheduling, assigning and overseeing subordinates work, training and guiding staff) related to the most advanced duties involving operation of motorized vehicles and equipment, pavement care and preservation, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs, delivery of equipment and materials, snow removal operations, office administration, permit compliance, record keeping, work management reports, inventory and features tracking, budgeting, data entry, contract preparation and tracking, environmental compliance. Job Duties: Operate and train crew on large equipment and power tools, including loaders, trucks, trailers, variable message boards, snow plows, heat transfer equipment, cone trucks, power brooms, water tankers, rollers, oil boots and attenuators.
