Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper, purchasing department and Finance to rectify damages and shortages; Routes and delivers items to departments/appropriate storage locations in a timely and efficient fashion. Must have willingness and ability to work in an environment to which the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperature changes and outside weather changes.
