Additionally, employees must be physically capable of safely pushing, pulling, maneuvering, and assisting with the movement of students who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices that may exceed 100 pounds, including the weight of the student, during loading, unloading, transportation, and emergency situations. Ability to assist bus driver in visually/physically inspecting the bus as outlined in the Daily Checklist provided by the garage supervisor and ability to walk the bus to disengage the child safety alarm or inspect for children left on the bus.
