The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of medical and residential treatment services through direct client interaction, medical support activities, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) support, specimen collection, client monitoring, and coordination of medical-related administrative functions. Employees may encounter exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, communicable illnesses, toxicology specimens, and emotionally sensitive situations.
