Responsibilities include:* Manufacture, assemble, and test custom machine hardware according to written procedures, engineering models, work orders, drawings, and specifications* Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment* Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections of engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance* Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control* Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment* Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments* Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency* Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESDQualifications* High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience* Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, test procedures and P&IDs* Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around critical hardware* Experience using common assembly and integration tools* Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas* Work at heights on work stands and in lifts.* Preferred Qualifications:* Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field* Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities* Experience in handling large/expensive components* Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures* Experience in new product introduction* Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environmentIf you are interested, please apply via the 'apply now' link provided.
