The Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician responsibilities also include but are not limited to racking and stacking equipment, installing PDU’s creating and managing documentation, and periodically supporting help desk functions such as participating in a phone queue, preforming desktop support, and deploying hardware (laptops, VoIP phones, peripherals). Installation of data center infrastructure materials including racks and cabinets w/ grounding, cable tray and ladder, cable management, copper and fiber networking cable, copper and fiber patch panels and any other materials necessary for data center operations.
