Scope of Practice Home Health Aides and CNAs are not permitted to perform skilled nursing procedures, including medication administration, sterile dressing changes, catheterization, tube feeding, tracheostomy care, wound irrigation, enemas, or any service outside the approved plan of care. The professional development of our staff is important to our clients; they want to know that their caregiver is skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced in the field.
