Responsibilities & Deliverables:Participate in buy-side, sell-side, restructuring and capital raising transaction advisory engagementsDraft and review analyses and findings for delivering unbiased advice to management for their records or inclusion in transaction advisory reports specific to key technical issuesDevelop and review financial modelsResearch technical guidance and market practices around accounting and financial reporting issuesReview transaction agreements, customer and supplier contractsSupport discussions with senior client executives and managementSupport diligence projects through fieldwork, management meetings and desktop reviewsCommunicate potential external audit risks and considerations when applying technical accounting guidance and structuringExtend industry skills and qualificationsDevelop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionalsCollaborate closely with corporate finance, valuation and financial restructuring colleaguesSupervise team members through training, coaching and critical reviewBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/universityCPA certification is required4+ years of Transaction Services experience or 2+ years of external audit experience and at least 2 years of Transaction Services experience with a Big 4 or national firmPreferred Qualifications:Experience providing accounting and financial reporting advisory services and other transaction-related servicesDemonstrated understanding and application of capital markets and valuation conceptsStrong current knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including SEC reporting, purchase accounting and transaction related issuesStrong analytical abilitiesAbility to handle multiple assignments simultaneouslyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and common database systemsExperience with data analytics tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) preferredCompensation and BenefitsHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.
