Essential Position Functions & Duties 90% lnnovation Operations, Program Coordination, and Faculty Support • Evaluate innovation disclosures and emerging research discoveries by meeting with researchers and conducting scientific, intellectual property, market, industry, and competitive research to assess potential applications, intellectual property and commercial opportunity, development needs, and commercialization pathways. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the position works with faculty, clinicians, researchers, trainees, legal counsel, industry representatives, and other partners to evaluate innovations, assess intellectual property and commercial potential, conduct market research, identify development opportunities, create commercialization plans, and support technologies through the commercialization process.
