The Unit Service Tech RN Student provides a broad range of care and services to patients, including but not to limited to, phlebotomy, blood glucose monitoring, completing EKGs, supporting procedures within their scope, patient transport, securing equipment and supplies, and responding to medical emergency situations utilizing Heartsaver CPR and AED skills. The framework is comprised of ten competencies (half People-Focused, half Performance-Focused) and are defined by observable and measurable skills and behaviors that contribute to workplace effectiveness and career success.
