The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations for the amusement park and lodge operations. This position supports multiple departments including food & beverage, maintenance, lodging, retail, entertainment, and park operations.
The Senior AP Clerk will process invoices, analyze expense reports to assign payments to the proper cost centers, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors. Assure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions including receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
Under limited supervision, the staff accountant assists the Finance Department in performing multiple duties related to the accounting functions of the organization within established deadlines. Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for: accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll.
