What We''re Looking For: 1-3 years of sales or retail experience Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills Goal-oriented with strong business and financial understanding Retail sales management experience preferred Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Must pass background and drug screening What You Can Expect: Training Pay: $22 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commission) Average Earning Potential After Training: $70,000 - $90,000+ (inclusive of base, commission and bonus) The company will not pay less than state/local minimum wage requirements Post-Training Pay: Base Pay: $22,000 per year Commission & Bonus: Earn more with UNCAPPED commission on written sales - 6% on La-Z-Boy Design Sales and 4% on other sales, other than La-Z-Boy Design Sales. Key Responsibilities: Drive store and individual sales goals and performance Coach, train, and motivate the sales team Champion the La-Z-Boy selling process and in-home design program Recognize top talent Deliver an exceptional, branded customer experience Support sales events, promotions, and store operations Address customer concerns and help maintain a clean, professional showroom Partner with leadership to improve sales and operational results Operations: Resolve customer concerns and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
