Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field or commensurate experience and training preferred; Minimum tCADC/CADC, LBSW, LMSW, tLMHC/LMHC or other state or national licensure that supersedes the tCADC or obtain within six months of hiring or; Associate's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field required AND a tCADC/CADC; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Familiarity with electronic health record systems strongly preferred; Ability to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames; Skilled in conducting individual, family, and group counseling; Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff, or community resources; Self-starter with ability to work independently; Ability to work within a team; Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance. As an Addiction Counselor on our Adolescent Residential Program, you'll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and serve as a primary counselor in the delivery of substance use disorder treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
