Under the supervision of the IDS pharmacist, the role is responsible for providing patient care services to patients enrolled in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug inventory and storage, including record keeping and drug accountability, ordering and receiving products, tracking expiration dates, processing drug returns and destruction after study closure. Ensures proper distribution/delivery of investigational pharmaceutical and supply shipment, provide support for drug procurement staff including unpacking stock, documenting receipt, and proper storage.
