p>The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and direct the operation of the specific unit, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, and as directed by the Director of Nursing Operations to assure that the highest degree of resident care can be maintained at all times. Duty 4: Assumes and demonstrates accountability and leadership in the performance of directing the nursing service department to ensure quality of resident care and promotion of team collaboration.
