The Managing Director of FBV leads development of the strategy for the fund portfolio, leads discussions with existing and potential LPs as part of fundraising and ongoing cultivation, architects and drives/supervises deal sourcing and evaluation, leads IC discussions and decisions working with the IC chair, develops communications for internal and external audiences, works with legal on risk and compliance assessments and decisions, participates in decision making on direction with IC and senior Bain execs (incl Chief Investment Officer, CFO, WWMD) and ensures alignment with Bain's enterprise priorities. Credibility and gravitas to operate at senior executive level internally and externally, including engaging Venture firm managing directors and fund leaders, founders/CEOs of startups, and Bain WW leadership (CIO, CFO, alumni lead, WWMD, etc).
