GP4 focuses on Palliative, Hospice, and Medical Surgical (not all patients are palliative or hospice, some are medical surgical, but there are efforts in motion to aggregate patients to this unit that are likely to transition’ to palliative vs curative efforts during their hospital stay).

p/> Hours: 7pm - 730am, every other weekend and holiday; Cardiac Experience preferred - willing to learn, grow and experience a very dynamic and challenging nursing career; The ideal candidate for this area should have a strong interest in Cardiac Nursing Care; Great unit to build from, as any type of patient can have a heart issue during their stay at GCMC and may end up on Cardiac Telemetry. Geisinger is proud to offer a part time Inpatient RN a $35.88 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekend shifts!
