Organizes medications and prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacists by retrieving, reading medication orders, preparing labels, calculating quantities, counting, pouring, weighing and at times mixing medications. Maintains and monitors Pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating medication and supplies, placing, and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and disposing of expired drugs.
