In addition to meeting one of the basic requirements above, you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience performing studies in the areas of sediment transport/fluvial geomorphology/river mechanics; in addition, you must have experience in ALL of the following: 1.) Leading a team of interdisciplinary scientists, engineers and technicians; providing evaluation and interpretation of numerical modeling and physical modeling of hydraulic, hydrologic, and sedimentation processes, evaluation of geomorphology and potamology processes, AND 2) Solving project problems with hydraulic, hydrologic, river, and sedimentation studies and projects, AND 3) Coordinating schedules, project quality and budgets with project managers, AND 4) communicating results from studies in written, visual or verbal communication. Basic Requirement for Hydrologist: A. I have a bachelors degree (or higher degree) in physical or natural science, or engineering that included at least 30 semester hours in any combination of courses in hydrology, the physical sciences, geophysics, chemistry, engineering science, soils, mathematics, aquatic biology, atmospheric science, meteorology, geology, oceanography, or the management or conservation of water resources.
