The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work alongside and in collaboration with the general GI team of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide high quality care and management of new, established, and returning patients across both Upper East Side and Lower Manhattan Hospital (LMH) practice locations. Counsels/educates patients and their care providers on acute/chronic disease management, disease prevention and health promotion, considering age, education, psychosocial needs, and cultural background to ensure safe, complete, & culturally competent care.
