8+ years of experience in GAAP accounting for mortgage loans, debt/equity securities and derivative instruments, preferably with public accounting experience; alternatively, the candidate can have a mix of public accounting (real estate finance focus) and industry experience at a public or private MREIT or real estate finance company.
