Unit provides strong support resources including a team lead rounding at 3:1, two respiratory therapists, an assistant nurse manager on all shifts, an admission/discharge nurse, vascular access team, RRT, code team, and behavioral health team. Skills required include IV starts, vent management, telemetry monitoring, CPAP/BiPAP management, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
