Run day-to-day activities for a specific area and serve as a proficient backup lead for at least one other process, including: • Leading Tier 1 meetings focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost• Planning production schedules• Creating work orders• Performing manufacturing processes within the ERP system• Ensuring team training remains current• Training team members on GDP and GMP regulations• Coaching and mentoring team members• Escalating issues to area supervisors or management. Manufacturing Leads are responsible for leading the manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products in multiple processes, including planning the schedule, creating work orders, leading team meetings, performing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system transactions, training/mentoring/coaching Manufacturing Technicians, and other activities as needed.
