Understanding of synchronous generators, transformers, circuit breakers, generator protection, closed loop voltage regulator controls, governor and power/frequency control, shunt and series applications of capacitors, synchronous condensers, power electronic converters for renewable energy and industrial applications. Previous experience with design, manufacturing, settings, installation, testing and maintenance of protection and control equipment, including UR relay, Enervista, Mark VIe, ToolboxST/ControlST programming, ladder logic or ability to convert flow charts into code.
