Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in MedSurg/Telemetry License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively Solid written and oral communication skills Ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels Experience reading telemetry strips Proficiency with chest tubes, trach care, PIV starts, drain and tube management, and PCA pumps Description: This position involves providing care for patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The patient population may include individuals with general medicine diagnoses such as diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory conditions, renal problems, and wounds.
