The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to inclement conditions, fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. Beginning work assignments include the performance of routine, manual tasks to assist in the construction, repair and maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pavement, street resurfacing, and related facilities.
