Work under the direction of the Finance Administrator and serve as support for the Budget & Finance department, including but not limited to preparing/submitting deposits, cutting checks for Narcotics/Alert, maintaining the Property Seizure Program, performing advanced professional accounting, maintaining receipts records, reviewing and submitting procurement card statements, reconciliations of budget accounts, and to perform related duties as assigned within the Sheriff Office. This means exemption from this policy is in effect for the following departments and positions: (1) Sheriff Deputy Patrol Officers, Deputy Jailers and Dispatchers, employed by the Sheriff Department, (2) Correction Officers employed by the Division of Corrections, (3) Firefighters, Paramedics and Dispatchers employed by the Shelby County Fire Department.
