n \nQualifications: \n \nEducation/Certification: \n\n Bachelor's degree, advanced degree (preferred) \n \nExperience:\n\n Extensive experience in high school or College Counseling (preferred) \n \nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):\n\n A desire to provide college counseling within the framework of ResponsiveEd's mission\n Superior interpersonal skills in listening to, working with, communicating with, and knowing students, parents, faculty and staff, and college admissions representatives \n Trustworthiness and integrity with all constituencies \n Excellent skills in managing details, deadlines, programs, people, and large quantities of information in a proactive, timely, organized, calming, and effective manner \n Creative, strategic, and thoughtful thinker regarding the assessment of and improvements to current programs and, as helpful, the development of new program elements that will enrich the quality of the college counseling program \n The ability to provide assurance and counsel to teenagers experiencing the typical highs and lows associated with the dual credit/college search process \n Strong ability to track and advance students through each of these phases, manage large amounts of information, and generate reports \n Strong ability to cultivate and maintain good relationships with colleges and universities and with other Counselors\n A deep working knowledge of college guidance programs and of information about local, regional, and national colleges and universities \n \nResponsibilities and Duties:\n\n Responsible for High School Personal Graduation Plans\n Responsible for Dual Credit Advising and Registration\n Counsels students on every facet of the college search process, providing especially close guidance to families starting in the fall of the freshman year and continuing through the senior year. Will counsel students on every facet of the high school, dual credit and college process and works in conjunction with campus administration to design and implement the ECHS model.
