Oversees the annual application review process, by setting clear goals for admits, identifying key segments of students for specialized review, manage and improve application workflow, and develop review requirements and strategies for counselors, to achieve strategic enrollment goals for the universityMeets with students and families after campus tours explaining application process, scholarship opportunities, study abroad, High Point University's differentials, and answering all student or parent questionsMaintains in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of the University's academic and extracurricular programsContributes to strategic planning and policy development for the Admissions TeamDevelops and maintains expertise to conduct campus tours; goes through tour shadowing program; conducts tours whenever neededHandles assigned duties during Admissions Events during the year: Open Houses, New Student Orientations, Presidential Scholarship Program, Admitted Students Spirit Event, etc. QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredExperience and Training:Minimum 6 years' experience in Enrollment ManagementMinimum 4 years' experience managing and leading professional staffKnowledge, Skills, Ability:Tracks record of leadership and professional developmentStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to balance complex processes and systems simultaneouslyTracks record of superior performance metricsDemonstrated expertise in strategic idea implementationExcellent negotiation skillsDemonstrates an entrepreneurial spiritStrong data driven decision-making abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Slate or comparable CRM, and other relevant modern technologyAbility to travelValid driver license with good driving record; must be insurable.
