The APP is clinically responsible and accountable for the application of the process, providing clinical guidance to the team, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership, and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in the practice of cardiac surgery, including endoscopic saphenectomy, general cardiac surgical operating room experience as well as pre and postoperative care experience, preferably in radial harvesting.
