Care for post-cardiac surgery patients including those with congenital heart defects (ASD, VSD, AV Canal, TOF), Glenn and Fontan procedures, cardiac transplant, valve replacements, and post-cath/ablation; perform hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation using telemetry and Medtronic pacemakers. Support specialty procedures including peritoneal dialysis, pre/post hemodialysis, lumbar puncture assistance, VP shunt monitoring, chemotherapy monitoring, and isolation precautions; float to Pediatrics or NICU as needed within scope of skillset.
