Clinical responsibilities include rapid sequence intubation medication administration, airway and ventilator management, continuous positive airway pressure and bilevel positive airway pressure, cardioversion and defibrillation, cooling and warming therapies, rapid infusers, sheath removal, patient-controlled analgesia pumps, peripherally inserted central catheter and port care, wound vacuums, drains, epidural pumps, feeding tubes, fistula care, and specialized medication titration. Experience with ventilated patients, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, continuous renal replacement therapy, arterial and central lines, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive medication infusions, dysrhythmia management, and multisystem organ dysfunction.
