The Aircraft Mechanic 1 troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces MH60 functional systems including rigging flight controls, rotor systems, components, drive train, powerplant, plumbing and hydraulic units using hand tools, power tools, special tools, and test equipment. This worker will read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
