How you will contribute: Provide high quality client care by utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools based on assessment Perform proper treatment modalities based on internal and external protocols Establish good rapport with clients, their families, and the healthcare community Maintain HIPAA privacy laws and discretion with sensitive information Communicate effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operation and quality care Provide accurate and complete trip documentation, both clinically and demographically Perform regular station and squad maintenance, paying special attention to areas of safety Obtain, then maintain all licensures and training required by the State of Wisconsin for this position Demonstrate the ability to operate company vehicles safely, exhibiting knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tactics Other necessary job tasks as assigned Education/Training/Experience Minimum of either a high school diploma or GED Current/valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certification Current/Valid Driver’s License NREMT license desirable but not required Critical Care accreditation highly desirable Additional Requirements Perform with a high level of professionalism at all times Must possess tact, patience, and a positive attitude Ability to function productively in individual and team environments, and in potentially highly stressful situations Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift in a safe manner, a minimum of 125 pounds Must meet fitness for duty requirements set forth by the policies of the Company, which may include a medical and physical evaluation Bell Ambulance can offer you an incredibly competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package, including two medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and company-sponsored plans.
