Key Responsibilities · Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience · Educate customer on the construction process · Work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes · Ensure that estimates meet client requirements · Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project · Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects · Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate · Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades · Identify and document finalized project scope of work · Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e., Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.) · Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates · Compile and resolve punch list items · Perform final walk-through with customer · Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer · Manage all warranty activities · Evaluate and sell projects · Educate customers on construction process · Identify and document project scope of work · Create and Review estimates · Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate · Review budgets · Ensure proper permits are acquired · Create project schedule and timeline · Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers · Negotiate terms and set expectations · Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors · Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers · Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work Position Requirements · High school diploma/GED · 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience preferred · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred · Superb customer service track record · Effective written and oral communication · Advanced math skills · Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software strongly preferred · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills · Team Player · Must have good driving record · Experience in restoration and/or construction required Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies · Walking and/or standing throughout the day.
