Knowledge of proper kennel cleaning techniques, animal handling and behavior, animal nutrition, rabies control, animal segregation and isolation, and maintenance of equipment used in animal handling and shelter operations is also preferred. Environmental of Physical Demands: This role requires periods of prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, full-range of motion with the arms, and the ability to individually lift up to 50 pounds.
