The Deputy Directoris appointed by the Mayor and works directly with the Director of Law to oversee legal operations, manage attorneys and staff, coordinate significant litigation, supervise outside counsel, and provide practical legal advice on matters ranging from economic development and labor relations to infrastructure projects, utilities matters, local income tax, housing, public safety, procurement, and governance.
