What you'll do: Conduct sheet metal forming and blending on a variety of Turbine engine components utilizing a belt sander pneumatic tools and pedestal grinders and various hand tools + fixturing aids, using the correct blending materials and techniques to restore the correct profile and contour of the Turbine Engine hot section turbine components per the Engine Manuals. As a Mechanic you'll set up and operate a variety of hand tools such as hammers, files, drills, presses, pedestal grinders and belt grinders, low temperature ovens and hand grinders to perform various operations such as blending, grinding, blasting & stripping, chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals, masking.
