Primary Job Responsibilities: Discuss design concepts and requirements with Sales, Manufacturing and project managers; recommend design and material alternatives, and modify or refine designs to conform to client specifications, production limitations, functionality, cost effectiveness requirements or changes in design trends Research production specifications and alternative product materials and provide cost estimates Develop and modify machine and product engineering drawings, layouts, sketches and diagrams using drafting instruments, Company equipment and computer-aided design software. This position is also responsible for discussing design concepts and requirements with Sales, Manufacturing and Project Managers, and modifying or refining designs to conform to client specifications, production limitations, functionality, cost effectiveness or changes in design trends.
