You will take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships with clients, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to help address their financial needs and make their lives easier, contributing to the success of the branch.Job responsibilities<ul><li>Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.</li><li>Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. </li><li>Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust - ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs. </li><li>Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.</li><li>Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs. </li><li>Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.</li></ul>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills<ul><li>1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results. </li><li>Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients - elevate the client experience. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.</li><li>Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail - providing consistent client experience. </li><li>Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.</li><li>High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.</li><li>The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC's licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided. </li><li>Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills<ul><li>College degree or military equivalent. </li><li>Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending ActThis position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. The MEP Estimator will support projects and will collaborate with other Estimators, clients and suppliers to prepare and complete bid / submittals for electrical construction projects. This role will follow company standards and strategy for pursuing estimates that fall within company's parameters. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the delivery of estimations for customers on time and in line with project scopes that meet quality meet Company Design Standards and the objectives set for the project. The successful candidate will have to be exceptionally organized and be great with back-office work. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop accurate and timely electrical construction estimates on which we base competitive bids and proposals for our client-base of General Contractors, Owners, Developers and end-users </li><li>Determine and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications </li><li>Perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative </li><li>Draft scope letters, proposals and vendor solicitations </li><li>Attend job walks; pre-bid meetings; collaborations and conferences with clients and design professionals </li><li>Follow Best Practices for the Estimating Department </li><li>Development and maintenance of computerized estimating programs and databases </li><li>Follow company standards for estimating electrical design / build and plans and specs work. Compile final bid packages for review by Executive and Project Teams </li><li>Review estimates created by others for accuracy and completeness </li><li>Perform job handoffs from estimating to operations through clearly demonstrating detailed scopes of work, specifications and job specific conditions. </li><li>Follow procedures for the preparation of estimates for modifications and additions </li><li>Prepare of estimates in accordance with the approved procedure for all phases of the works from the agreed engineering deliverables to the appropriate level of accuracy </li><li>Prepare rationale statements to support the estimate identifying areas of weakness and or areas of risk. </li><li>Carry out validation and verification of the estimates using high level norms and by comparing with previous estimates, outcome costs and vendor prices </li><li>Lead estimating team, lead estimating team meetings, and assist when needed in training, developing, of junior staff of estimators qualified to carry out departmental and project needs. </li><li>Review contractual documents and modifications to determine scope of work and scope of changes. </li><li>Assists project management with preparation of schedules for estimate preparation, review, and publication </li><li>Develops forms, formats, and procedures to improve the quality of work produced in the Department </li><li>Interfaces directly with clients when needed </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>3-7 years of estimating and preconstruction bid experience of large electrical projects </li><li>Knowledge and proficiency with Code requirements and basic electrical engineering calculations; Voltage-drop, Ohm's law, conduit-fill, wire ampacity, de-rating, etc. </li><li>Proven experience in driving the successful execution of the bid process for $10 million to $500 million bids </li><li>Electrical Contracting experience a must! </li><li>Will consider union or non-union candidates </li><li>Have and/or build the industry contacts that will contribute to bid success </li><li>Experience interacting with State and local Municipalities a plus </li><li>Solid knowledge of Estimating software - Accubid Anywhere with LiveCount, McCormick, Bluebeam, and a deep understanding of ConEst a plus </li><li>Highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented </li><li>Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches that have experience with Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus!
