This role brings creative concepts to life through strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling across physical, digital, and presentation-based mediums.Our Art Directors are hands-on creative executors who collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to concept development, and own the creation and quality of production files. You'll operate independently, meet deadlines, and deliver consistently strong work aligned to client brand standards. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the below: <ul><li>Translate creative briefs into thoughtful, brand-aligned design solutions</li><li>Contribute ideas during brainstorms and kickoff meetings</li><li>Develop concepts from initial idea through final execution that meet experiential goals</li><li>Design files that are accurate, press-ready, and require minimal revisions across multiple mediums including:</li><li>Event signage and environmental graphics</li><li>Packaging and promotional materials</li><li>Social and digital assets</li><li>Presentation decks and pitch materials</li><li>Build production-ready files with correct specs, versioning, and handoff</li><li>Research client brands and understand visual systems and guidelines</li><li>Apply brand standards consistently across all deliverables</li><li>Adapt designs appropriately for different retailers, environments, and audiences</li><li>Partner with Copy, Client Services, Events, Talent, and Operations ensuring creative work supports timelines and cross-functional needs</li><li>Participate in kickoff meetings and creative reviews</li><li>Incorporate feedback professionally and efficiently</li><li>Maintain a high bar of expectations for layout, typography, color, and composition</li><li>Proof all work prior to delivery to ensure creative output meets Gratsy's quality standards</li><li>Stay aware of design trends and experiential innovations</li><li>Core Values: Exhibit exemplary alignment with our core values, mission, and vision here at Gratsy. </li><li>Comply with all company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required, associates or bachelors degree preferred.</li><li>2+ years of professional experience in a similar role at an agency or experiential marketing firm</li><li>Portfolio required</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<ul><li>Strong conceptual thinking and design execution</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li><li>PowerPoint proficiency for client-facing decks</li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management</li><li>Clear communication and openness to feedback without ego</li><li>Shopper marketing or experiential design experience preferred</li><li>Exposure to 3D rendering software (preferably Blender),AIsoftware, and other emerging creative tools</li><li>A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the Gratsy's insurance policy are required</li></ul>WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONEnjoy our hybrid onsite environment! This position will be located in the company's HQ.Team members based out of this location work in the GratsyBentonville, AR office at a minimum Tuesday through Thursday, and remotely on Monday and Friday, depending on business needs. 401(k) PLANEligible employees can voluntarily participate in the Company's 401(k) plan where Gratsy matches employee contributions, dollar-for-dollar (100%) up to the first 4% of your annual salary.
