Assembler - Variable Shifts Location: Ladson, South Carolina (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract to Perm Role Overview An opportunity is available for an Assembler to join a team for a contract-to-permanent role. This position involvesperforming routine production assembly operations in a collaborative team environment. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work on either the 1st or 2nd shift, with the specific assignment determined after training. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and sub-assemblies using manual or automated tools. </li><li>Locate parts and assemblies, perform gap verification and shimming. </li><li>Conduct manual and automated drilling, counter-sinking, and sealant application. </li><li>Install fasteners, rivets, and blind bolts. </li><li>Partner with build teams and leaders to mitigate performance risks. </li><li>Identify and escalate production constraints through clear communication. </li><li>Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities. </li><li>Support teammates by providing cross-training and mentoring. </li></ul>Required Qualifications Experience:<ul><li>1+ year of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication. </li><li>1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications. </li><li>Experience in construction or manual labor is considered relevant. </li></ul> Skills:<ul><li>Ability to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd). </li><li>Proficiency with software applications for internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Suite. </li><li>Candidates must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. • 120.15. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience with CMES. </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to answer questions in depth. </li></ul>Additional Information Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.  Assemble doors, jambs, and related components to exact specifications. 
 Perform precise measurements and cuts using tape measures and calipers. 
 Interpret and work from CAD drawings. 
 Maintain organization and attention to detail in all tasks.
