The Capital Management Intern will support the company’s efforts to monitor, analyze, forecast, and manage its financial strength, capital position, and risks by assisting with updating and validating capital models, analyzing and forecasting changes in regulatory and rating-agency capital, and understanding and communicating capital implications for the company, in addition to activities such as process improvements and documentation activities. The Capital Management internship will provide exposure to how a leading U.S. life and annuity insurer evaluates current and projected capital needs, understanding the drivers of changes in capital and risk-based capital ratios, and provide insight into potential capital impacts from business activities, investment decisions, reinsurance deals, and regulatory developments.
