Collaborating/Coordinating - Providing leadership for collaborative activities including: Developing and coordinating effective programs and workshops in cooperation with other Bush School and University departments and offices including, but not limited to, the Bush School Undergraduate Programs, The Bush School Departments of International Affairs, Public Service & Administration, and Political Science, the Office of Extended Education, Bush School-DC, the Texas A&M Office of Graduate & Professional Studies, Texas A&M University Scholarships & Financial Aid, the Texas A&M University Career Center, Texas A&M Student Life, and Texas A&M Student Activities; Serving as a liaison for Bush School faculty and administrative personnel to maintain a high level of cooperation between student life and academics; Collaborating with the school Alumni Services and Development Office to track alumni first-destination employment information, maintaining the alumni jobs listserv, and completing other tasks as necessary to use alumni as mentors to students and keeping alumni connected to the School and Texas A&M University for career services purposes; Serving as a liaison to various campus offices, The Association of Former Students, Texas A&M Graduate & Professional School, Texas A&M Civil Rights Office, Texas A&M Public Policy Internship Program, Texas A&M Student Activities, Texas A&M Career Center, Texas A&M Counseling and Psychological Services, and other relevant parties regarding Bush School student services; Working with all parties to develop programs that will benefit current and former students; Representing the Bush School on external committees including but not limited to the Texas A&M Career Center Advisory Council and the Graduate and Professional School. Develop and manage, in conjunction with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, and Master of International Affairs, Master of Public Service & Administration, and Political Science department heads, student internship policies and procedures to provide internship certification, to include student evaluation and assessment, employer evaluation and assessment, internship and language training funding, and other related issues; Provide leadership for developing and delivering programs and services related to graduate recruiting and admissions, career services and experiential education, and student development; Oversee and manage student organization advising and guideline development for Bush School-affiliated organizations.
