Working closely with Mission Area leadership and APL Enterprise Service Departments, you will also serve as the Mission Area Business Manager, providing business leadership, aligning operational priorities with organizational objectives, and ensuring the Mission Area has the operation staff and processes needed to successfully execute its research mission. Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to the Mission Area's Financial Management and Operations Management teams in coordination with Section Supervisors, building leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
