Working within the APP’s scope of practice, the provider will exercise clinical judgment in determining appropriate diagnostic evaluations, initiating and adjusting medical management, interpreting laboratory and imaging results, and identifying patients who require further evaluation or intervention by an attending urologist. The APP will be responsible for independently evaluating and managing new and established patients, obtaining detailed medical histories, performing focused physical examinations, reviewing diagnostic studies, establishing diagnoses, and developing individualized treatment plans.
