This role provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care while working closely with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. The NP/PA will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and serve as a first-line provider responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination of cardiac surgery patients and their families.
