The division is led by the nationally recognized Dr. Bital Savir-Baruch, MD, FACNM, current President of the American College of Nuclear Medicine as well as the Division Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics, Nuclear Radiology Fellowship Program Director, and the Associate Chair of Clinical Research for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Arizona Banner University Medical Center Tucson. Medical Imaging serves the two main hospitals, Banner University Medical Center Tucson, BUMC-T (479 licensed beds) and Banner University Medical Center South, BUMC-S (150 licensed beds), and the Diamond Children s Medical Center, as well as two outpatient centers: Banner University Medicine-North, BUMC-N, and the Advanced Breast Imaging Center, ABIC.
