The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the care, prevention, and rehabilitation of all athletic-related injuries to Xavier University student-athletes while working cooperatively with, and under the direction of, the team physician and the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine in providing the following for all sports: Oversight of the rehabilitation of student athletes. Assume responsibility for one team sport (Women’s Basketball), as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, which shall include attend all practices and competitions for the team sport; attend the Big East Championship and any additional tournament advancements for all sports for whom they have been assigned.
