Under the direction of the DMV Program Accountability Audit Manager, the DMV Program Accountability Auditor travels statewide to conduct audits of 129 Contract License Plate Agencies (LPAs), State Registration Offices, 113 Driver License Offices (DLOs), Online Dealers (OLDs), and other assigned entities to determine compliance with applicable State laws, DMV policies and procedures, contractual requirements, and established financial and operational controls. The program area for this position includes one or more of the following: experience in accounting, auditing, finance, financial reconciliation, internal controls, regulatory compliance, related business operations, experience with DMV systems and operations, including STARS, SADLS, License Plate Agencies, Driver License Offices, Online Dealers, and/or the experience examination of DMV documents and fees.
